Phil Horn
Owner
In 1983, after noticing a harvest time problem in the Red River Valley of sugar beets not rolling out of the trucks at the sugar factories, Phil founded a company offering a solution - engineered plastics, slippery enough for sugar beets and sticky soil to slide off of and sturdy enough to protect truck beds and trailers from abrasive materials. As time passed, the demand for this plastic quickly expanded into new applications across the US with similar sticking or wear problems. “Our focus has always been to exceed customer’s expectations.”

General Manager
Jeffrey became a CPA and general manager at Horn Plastics in 2009. He is proud of the service Horn Plastic provides and enjoys taking care of any problems right away. One of his goals is to utilize technology to make Horn Plastics more efficient. “It’s a good place with excellent opportunities for great people always striving to make sure customers are taken care of.”

Ilene began her career with Horn Plastics in 1994. She grew up on a farm and drove a gravel truck with a Super-Slide plastic liner in it for eleven years before taking a job at Horn Plastics.
