HMW Blue Stripe vs. The Competitions HMW Black liners
HMW Blue Stripe is 100% virgin HMW, dye-free; and, free of reused plastic. HMW Blue Stripe’s natural color minimizes its amount of sunlight absorption. Its UV stabilizer protects the liner from the damaging effects of sunlight. With an HMW Blue Stripe, you can see what you’re getting.
Black liners are made with black dye to cover up reused and reground plastic, which is weaker than virgin HMW plastic. Black liners absorb more sunlight and heat, causing bubbling, expansion and contraction in the liner. Its ability to do the job becomes dictated by the elements.

Competitor's HMW Black liners compared to HMW Blue Stripe
Black dye is used in the Black liner to cover up reused or reground plastic, so you can never be certain what you are getting.
HMW Blue Stripe is 100% virgin HMW. We don't use any dyes, and we don't use a cheaper reused plastic to make our Blue Stripe.
Because of the Black color, Black liners will absorb more sunlight and heat causing bubbling in the liner. The increased temperature range will also cause the liner to expand and contract to greater extremes, causing additional wear to the liner over time.
HMW Blue Stripe is a natural color to minimize the amount of sunlight absorption. Blue Stripe also contains UV stabilizer to protect the liner from sunlight which can cause liners to crack over time.
